This is weird but I found out by accident if you plug in your laptop to a data projector, the laptop's screen res defaults to 1024X576 allowing you to see the whole desktop without that 'orrible scrolling up and down. This screen res will 'stick' even if you unplug the data projector. I have downloaded it from the site but it won't run. I don't want to fiddle with settings. Should i try downloading it to the new laptop and see if that works. Windows wanted to look for updates but was only allowesd to go so far. I am guessing adminstrator rights. Downloading driver info manually ok but then it won't run comes up with windows vista not supported even though i have downloaded a driver for XP. Can't update forefront client securty(i am assuming the virus software) on bottom taskbar. not aving much luck today at all. I'm hoping to use it in conjunction with the Smart software and a data projector for maths. Also, it may help to enter mathematical symbols into word processors etc.

However, for the last two days I've been unable to get internet access at school, even though the computer tells me I'm connected. A colleague with exactly the same setup in the Internet Options-Connections-LAN Settings window is having no such problems. I get internet access at home with no problems, except that this site, Youtube, Teachertube and others are all blocked! My colleague has the same ...
