How many of you have tried to get onenote conferencing working? If you have, you're probably frustrated by the firewall constantly blocking your attempts.

1) create a personal bluetooth network. You may need to turn on the bluetooth and make your computer visible

2)Open up onenote

3)In the Share menu, go to Live Sharing Session and click Start Live Sharing Session

4)Set a password (if you want) and click start. Agree to any dialog boxes

5)Click on Shared Address Information. The ...

Create your own wiki

One thing that I have started with my Year 12 Modern History class that has so far been well received is a class-specific wiki. The idea is that it will become a collaborative place for the class to share notes, ideas, links etc.

Check it out here: http://bphsmod.wikispaces.com/ as a guest you will be able to view the wiki, but it requires registration (and my approval) to join & modify it.

I think this is something that could be put into any class. Any thoughts?

I've worked for many years with computers but it's always been in a reasonably comfortable adjustable chair with castors and a large workstation. Since I started working in primary schools I find myself in tiny chairs or bending over a lot. For me and the students I work with this is generally not a problem, I am moving around a lot and the students are only at the computers for a short time.

I recently spent two wonderful days at IWB training sitting in a molded plastic chair with my ...
